Student Success and Instruction Librarian

The University of Alaska Fairbanks, Rasmuson Library seeks a highly motivated recently graduated librarian to serve as a non-tenure-track member of our instructional faculty. In this position you'll teach our core information literacy course, "LS101," as well as individual course-integrated instruction sessions, both online and in the classroom. You'll use your creative talents to design shared curriculum, create shared assignments, and help us update our student learning outcomes with the latest ACRL Framework. This position also provides reference and research services, and works with the outreach team to promote the library's information resources and help ensure student success.

Minimum Qualifications:
MLS/MLIS from an ALA accredited program (or foreign equivalent) or will complete degree by their hire date.
Minimum of one semester of teaching or bibliographic instruction experience, or recent coursework in instructional methodology.
Position Details:
This position is located on the Troth Yeddha' campus in Fairbanks, Alaska. This is a full-time, non-tenure track, term, faculty position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package.
