    Description

    This role provides advising and admissions support for students in the Dual Enrollment Department at Rio Salado College. The primary focus is on driving and tracking progress for students on academic and career pathways (Associates degrees and Occupational Certificates) through outreach (phone, email, text, in person). They serve as a dedicated resource for prospective and current dual enrollment students, utilizing multiple communication channels and various softwares (Student Information System (SIS), Dynamic Forms, Google Workspace, MS Office, etc.) to guide students and parents through the entire academic lifecycle-from initial ID authentication and residency verification to academic planning and graduation. By identifying and resolving individual enrollment barriers, this position ensures a seamless transition for students and families as they navigate the complexities of college entry and completion. Beyond direct student support, this position will often interact with partner high school staff (counselors, administrators, and instructors). Collaborating internally with departments like Student Business Services, Admissions and Records, Testing, and faculty to streamline administrative processes is essential. Data reporting, communication, presentation, and cross-departmental collaboration skills are essential to maintaining the integrity and growth of degree/certificate completion.

    Essential Functions

    40% - Provides support, guidance and information for career and academic pathways for early college students. Additional student services duties for early college program, including admissions and registration. High school visits and on-campus office hours.

    35% - Maintains records and tracks student progress for academic and career pathways and runs reports on degrees and degree progress. Works one-on-one with students for degree/success plans. Works with high school liaisons, students, and parents to track students' progress.

    25% - Coordinates recruitment and enrollment of early college students. In-person high school, parent and classroom presentations. Works with manager and high school partners developing, creating, and implementing career pathways and degree completion for dual enrollment courses.
