This position interacts with a diverse population of prospective and current students; provides information as the first point of contact on campus; processes admission, residency and registration related forms; assists students with online self-service options; assists with triage of student needs and entering into virtual waiting line system; supports Welcome Desk and phones; makes appropriate referrals to other related student services; other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions
60%: Serve as member of college's Call Center, answering not only Admissions & Records questions, but also general questions about the college, referring to other persons/departments as needed. Will also make outbound calls for various college outreach.
20%: Assist students with admissions, records and registration processes, guiding students through process and next steps, and processing Admissions & Records forms.
10%: Assist with special events (Coyote Kickoff, program-specific information sessions) by performing Admissions & Records functions (registration, identification authentication, etc.) as needed
10%: Assist as needed at Welcome Desk (when working in-person)
