    This is a short-term position with a projected end date of 06/30/2028. Based on funding, position may be extended.

    The Student Service Analyst provides leadership and program coordination for the Academic Advising and Career Services department. Acts a content expert in academic advisement and student support for students pursuing a Bachelor Science in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Works collaboratively with program faculty, Field of Interest advisors, and Student Affairs administrators. The position engages in proactive case management, is responsible for monitoring student progress and completion, and coordinates student resources & referrals as needed. This position may lead a Field of Interest or other assigned cohort team and monitor team performance, duties, and/or schedules as well as perform problem resolution and program management and evaluation.

    Essential Functions

    45% - Student Case Management and Academic Advising Provides professional-level, end-to-end academic advising and case management of students for the Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning program. Supports student learning, persistence, retention, and degree completion through proactive outreach, individualized academic plans, and case management practices. Conducts one-on-one and group advising sessions focused on goal-setting, academic planning, transfer pathways, and student success strategies. Serves as the primary advising liaison for bachelor degree students, connecting students to academic and personal support resources including financial aid, career services, tutoring, and other college services. Monitors, tracks, analyzes, and reports student progression, retention, and completion data; identifies trends and develops interventions to improve student outcomes. Collaborates with faculty, administrators, and student affairs partners to recommend program improvements, course scheduling enhancements, student engagement opportunities, and other strategies that support student success.

    25% - Leadership, Coordination, and Quality Assurance Provides leadership and coordination for bachelor's degree cohorts. Works collaboratively with CIT and STEM Fields of Interests leads to advising quality assurance, training, support. Serves as a department lead by coordinating daily activities, assigning work, monitoring workflow, and providing guidance to non-exempt staff to ensure department goals, deadlines, and program objectives are met. Resolves complex student concerns and escalated issues requiring advanced interpretation of policy, procedure, or academic requirements. Provides technical assistance, coaching, and subject matter expertise to advising and student services staff. Serves as a content expert in academic planning, educational and career pathways, curricular requirements, transfer and completion planning, student success practices, retention strategies, and case management methodologies.

    20% - Program Development, Training, and Assessment Develops, maintains, coordinates, and delivers presentations, workshops, trainings, and educational programming for students, faculty, staff, and community stakeholders. Evaluates advising processes, procedures, and student support initiatives to ensure effectiveness and alignment with institutional goals. Utilizes data, assessment findings, and evidence-based practices to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and make recommendations for program enhancements. Assists with the development and delivery of professional development and training related to advising, onboarding, student engagement, retention, persistence, and student success.

    10% - Compliance, Collaboration, and Program Administration Interprets and applies federal, state, district, and college regulations, policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance and effective service delivery. Participates in and contributes to Field of Interest initiatives, student success efforts, committees, and cross-functional projects. Provides program management, coordination, operational planning, and assessment support for assigned initiatives and student populations. Performs other duties as assigned.
