This position serves as the program-facing Analyst for Rio Salado Colleges construction workforce programs. The position builds and manages relationships with employer and industry partners, designs apprenticeship, internship, and stackable-credential pathways in coordination with the Faculty Chair, tracks and analyzes program data and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate effectiveness and leads job-placement strategy for program completers. This position exercises independent judgment and analysis in industry liaison work and data-informed recommendations, and does not perform front-line student advising or enrollment processing.
Essential Functions
25% - Develops and maintains strategic employer and industry partnerships; negotiates internship, apprenticeship, and work-based learning placement agreements; serves as the programs primary liaison to industry and economic-development stakeholders.
20% - Designs and coordinates apprenticeship, internship, and stackable-credential pathway options in coordination with the Faculty Chair; monitors industry and technology trends and makes recommendations for curriculum and pathway enhancements.
15% - Builds and manages the job-placement pipeline with employer partners; plans and coordinates hiring events, job fairs, and apprenticeship-to-employment transitions; tracks placement outcomes.
15% - Tracks program KPIs (enrollment, retention, completion, job placement); analyzes program data to evaluate effectiveness and recommends improvements; prepares reports and dashboards for funders, district, and college leadership.
15% - Cultivates K-12/high school dual-enrollment partnerships; represents the program at industry conferences, sector-partnership meetings, and district-level workforce initiatives related to construction.
10% - Supports grant and project management: assists with budget tracking, deliverable reporting, and compliance monitoring for program grants. Other duties as assigned.
