JOB DESCRIPTION
This position is designed for post-baccalaureate individuals participating in a UTMB post-baccalaureate
research education program with major responsibilities of research and academic work.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
laboratory to gain proficiency for performing laboratory or computational research
defined project(s); Reports results of the research in written and verbal reports
work under the direction of responsible faculty
in activities that include individual development planning and writing assignments
postdoctoral members
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
WORKING ENVIRONMENT/EQUIPMENT
Classroom, library, computer facility, laboratory and/or clinical environments.
May be exposed to such occupational hazards found in a biomedical research facility or clinical environment such as communicable diseases, blood borne pathogens, ionizing & non-ionizing radiation, hazardous medications and disoriented or combative patients or others.
OTHER:
Specific job requirements or physical location of some positions allocated to this classification, may render this position security sensitive, and thereby subject to the provisions of Section 51.215, Texas Education Code.
Salary range
Commensurate with experience.
