Research Assistant
The Research Assistant will support the department/organization in various administrative and research tasks. This position deals directly with research (in or outside a laboratory).

Current Tulane University student in good academic standing
Enrollment in a relevant degree program (Biology, Cell Biology, Immunology, Public Health, or related field), preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel, required
Prior laboratory coursework or research experience preferred but not required
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal protocols
Reliable, organized, and able to manage time effectively in a research setting
Ability to commit to a consistent weekly schedule
Perform laboratory experiments including DNA extractions, quality control assessments, ELISA assays, and flow cytometry staining protocols
Maintain detailed and accurate records of experimental procedures and results in laboratory notebooks and digital formats
Assist with data analysis, including processing and interpreting ELISA and flow cytometry data
Follow all laboratory safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace
Communicate regularly with supervising lab members regarding experimental progress and results
Participate in lab meetings as required
