Job Summary

The PATH (Pediatric Advancement Toward Health) Research Team's mission is to promote health and wellness in children facing medical conditions and their families. Our team focuses on emotional health within medicine. We partner with Golisano Children's Hospital at UK and UK Health Care outpatient pediatric clinics in the research we conduct with multiple projects running simultaneously. An example of a current project from our team includes assessing temperament, social determinants of health, and medical traumatic stress in children with cancer. This position requires staff to recruit pediatric patients and their caregivers to participate in research studies in person and electronically and complete a significant amount of data collection and review. The position also includes opportunities to advance skills in qualitative analysis (e.g. coding) and scholarly activities (e.g., literature review, abstract preparation / presentation preparation, etc.). Skills of successful applicants include strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, ability to work on teams and independently, reliability, and willingness to learn. Position will primarily be in-person work.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Working knowledge of SPSS, Excel, and/or Redcap preferred.
