Explore an exciting opportunity with Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist as we eagerly welcome a skilled Student Registered Nurse Anesthetist (SRNA) to join our dynamic Inpatient Anesthesia Team in Winston Salem, NC.

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is a nationally recognized academic health system, and our Winston Salem Campus is a level 1 trauma center. While working in the Inpatient Anesthesia Department, you will expand your skillset by working on a wide variety of cases, including but not limited to: Orthopedic, Vascular, Burns, Cardiothoracic (specific team), Neurology, ENT, General/Abdominal, Robotic, Gynecology. Other cases you may experience, outside of the day-to-day, include: EP, IR, MRI, Burn Tank, Brachytherapy, and Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE).
What You'll Do as CRNA:
As a valued member of our healthcare team, the SRNA will play a key role in team-focused patient care, providing anesthesia using safe and quality techniques during Inpatient Procedures. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
The clinician functions under the regulatory mandate from their respective licensing organization (North Carolina Medical Board or North Carolina Board of Nursing) with departmental specific credentialing from the institution.
SRNA Requirements:
Currently enrolled in an eligible CRNA program
Ability to demonstrate clinical competency within the scope of granted privileges.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse clinical teams.

Functions in a highly specialized area of nursing as an Assistant and Instructor under the direct supervision of an Anesthesiologist. Provides safe quality age appropriate anesthesia using established guidelines of clinical privileges approved by the Chairman of the Anesthesia Department.
