Description

Mitchell Hamline School of Law is seeking to hire a full-time Student Records and Outreach Coordinator. This position is responsible for managing student academic records and course registration, and preparing official documentation including bar exam certifications, degree verifications, and enrollment verifications. This position also manages overseeing grade and transcript processes, coordinating departmental communications, and ordering official diplomas and certificates.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Registration ProcessingEnter course credit value changesAnswer student, faculty, and staff registration questionsGraduation ProcessingManage Intent to Graduate dates and applications to graduateUpdate student coding the SIS to graduation statusSend list of graduating students to key officesOrder diplomas and certificatesManage diploma and certificate re-issues and ordersManage Paradigm relationshipProcess and track bar certificationsManage Grade ProcessesDistribute grade deadlines and instructions to all faculty and adjunctsAssist faculty with online grade submission and process all grade changesEnsure compliance with mandatory requirementsEnter incomplete grades into SISCommunicate grade policies to studentsProcess CALI awards and notify studentsNotify students of placement on Dean's ListMaintain Student RecordsManage internet submissionsMaintain student files in accordance with records retention policyRecords RequestCoordinate and process transcript requestsProcess letters of good standingProcess enrollment and degree verification requestsFulfill requests for copies of law school applicationsCommunicationsUpdate My Academics portlet in the student portal as necessaryDevelop forms as necessaryManage all outbound email communications to faculty, staff and studentsManage changes to the Academic CatalogTeamwork and Cross TrainingFoster a collaborative, cross-trained teamPromote shared goals and open communicationTake on other duties as assigned (e.g., new projects and team projects)An individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above.
