Neumann University is currently seeking a qualified applicant for the full-time position of Student Health Center & Compliance Coordinator within the university's Student Health Services Center and the College of Nursing and the School of Health Professions and Biological Sciences.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support for Student Health Center
- Schedule appointments for the Student Health Center and Counseling Center, verifying times with student patients, preparing medical records, and consent forms.
- Coordinate the medical and immunization record verification process for all new students.
- Maintain supply inventory within the College of Nursing and the Student Health Center.
- Maintain student health records in a secure and confidential manner.
- Ensures contractual and regulatory obligations are met by students within the College of
- Nursing and the School of Health Professions and Biological Sciences prior to students
- beginning experiential learning.
- Coordinates day to day operations for the Student Health Center.
- Assist as needed with important university programs such as admissions events and new student orientation.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Highly organized and critical focus on detail, accuracy, problem solving, and efficient workflow.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to use judgement in escalating student health and/or compliance concerns to the nurse practitioner or medical director.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
- Able to use effective interpersonal relations and diplomacy in fast-paced, highly visible environment.
- Candidates must possess an understanding of, appreciation for, and congruence with the Catholic Franciscan mission of the University.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with electronic medical record software programs, especially Titanium, and medical terminology.
- Previous experience in the medical field.
- 1+ years in a medical office.
