The NTC Events Graduate Assistant (GA) supports the Director of NTC Events in the planning, development, promotion, evaluation and execution of NTC Signature and Premiere events held throughout the year. The GA will gain hands-on experience in event management, graphic design, marketing support, and administrative operations while contributing to the success of campus events. Primary duties will include:
Data Collection & Analysis: Collect, organize, and analyze event-related data to assess effectiveness, identify trends, and support data-informed decision-making for NTC events and initiatives.
Graphic Design/Material Production: Create, edit, and produce event-related marketing and promotional materials in collaboration with the NTC Marketing & Communications team, including:
WaveSync graphics
Posters and flyers
Social media content
NTC and LBC digital signage
Event program booklets
Event Posters, etc.
Event Support: Assist with event setup, on-site operations, and post-event breakdown to ensure successful event execution.
Equipment & Inventory Maintenance: Maintain organization of the NTC Events equipment closet, monitor inventory levels, analyze usage, and provide support for equipment request fulfillment, distribution, and tracking as needed.
Administrative Duties: Support day-to-day office operations

Required Skills & Knowledge:
Current Tulane University undergraduate student in good standing with the university
Self-motivated individual with strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Acrobat, and related applications), Microsoft Office, survey tools, spreadsheet, and basic data reporting methods
Experience with social media platforms
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
Familiarity with Tulane University and NTC branding guidelines
Strong organizational skills and time management skills
Ability to interpret information and communicate findings in a clear and actionable manner
Keen eye for detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Ability to perform frequent physical work such as climbing stairs, sustained activity, lifting heavy objects up to 50 pounds, moving, and bending.
Position Details:
Part-time position (20 hours per week)
Work schedule determined based on student availability*
Reports to the Director of NTC Events
Flexibility required due to event schedules
