    Job Title:School of Health Sciences – Dean’s Office Assistant
    Department:School of Health Sciences
    Student Employment Type:Federal Work Study
    Responsibilities:
    • Greeting visitors to Dean’s Office Suite and assisting with inquiries.
    • Typing, recapping notes, filing, copying, errands on campus (example: color copy jobs at color printer on 3rd floor & pick up order(s) at QU Bookstore), assistance with mailings, preparation projects for upcoming SHS events, stuffing marketing one sheeters into folders for distribution, etc.
    • Assist in creation of School Newsletter
    • Assist in inventory tracking of all SHS promotional advertising products
    • Assistance with the stocking of items in SHS Supply Closet
    • Sorting and/or delivering daily mail for SHS / SON & Graduate Office
    • Responsible for keeping the SHS Kitchen well stocked on a daily basis (example: K-Cup® pods and water for the refrigerator and paper for the copier)
    • Assist with other departments within the School of Health Sciences. 
    • Minimal lifting may be required.
    Qualifications:
    • Personable and friendly to work on a constant basis with faculty, staff, students and visitors.
    • Strong organizational and communication skills.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
    • Proficient in Delivera publishing software a plus.
    • Transportation to the North Haven Campus.
    • Juniors, Seniors or enrolled in coursework on the North Haven campus preferred but not required.
    Hours of Position:
    • Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – to 4:00 pm
