    Job Title:North Haven Public Schools Technology Department Assistant
    Department:Office of Community Engagement
    Student Employment Type:Federal Work-Study
    Responsibilities:• Troubleshoot and repair a variety of technology devices, including laptops, chromebooks, desktops, tablets, AV equipment, and other network connected devices
    • Image and prepare computers for deployment, and assist with the organization of device distribution and collection
    • Provide technical support to staff and students through a ticket system and walk-up technology help center
    • Gain an understanding of the diverse functions within a technology department
    Qualifications:

    • This position requires no previous experience; however, candidates should have a strong aptitude for problem solving.
    • Good interpersonal skills both in-person and over phone and technology, with a customer service mindset, is essential
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office including, Word, Excel and Outlook
    • Interest and/or prior experience with fixing/repairing, etc of electronic and computing equipment is helpful

    Hours of Position: Operational hours of the office are Monday-Friday 8am – 4pm. Applicants must have sufficient time available during the operational hours to work between 6-8 hours per week.
