    Job Title:Graduate Assistant – Registrar’s Office
    Department:Registrar
    Student Employment Type:Graduate Assistant - Hourly
    Responsibilities:

    • Assist the Senior Assistant Registrar with the hiring, training, supervision, and evaluation of all student employees, including addressing employment concerns and developing correction plans when necessary.

    • Respond to student and faculty inquiries—both in person and via email—with professionalism, empathy, and accuracy.

    • Assist with transcript and diploma ordering

    • Assist in coordination of the yearly catalog project

    • Assist with the preparation, review, and maintenance of student academic records in compliance with FERPA and university policies.

    • Support registration set up processes, including schedule building, course adjustments, and waitlist management.

    • Help coordinate graduation audits, degree verifications, and commencement preparations.

    • Assist in data entry within the Student Information System (Colleague).

    • Participate in special projects, such as process improvement initiatives or technology upgrades.
    Qualifications:
    • Must be a graduate student, in good standing, currently enrolled in coursework at Quinnipiac University.  
    • Prior experience working in office setting.
    • Experience managing employees preferred.
    • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality when required.
    • Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision.
    • Ability to interact with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and to exhibit a positive, helpful attitude
    Hours of Position:
    • Max of 20 hours week

    • 10am – 2pm or 11am – 3pm
