    Job Title:Digital Platforms Assistant
    Department:Marketing and Communications
    Student Employment Type:Federal Work Study
    Responsibilities:
    • Develop and maintain project status for online stories created for the website and social media channels, gathering marketing content and liaising with students, staff and faculty.
    • Conduct interviews for written stories and then write stories
    • Build articles in the university’s content management system
    • Oversee event marketing communications projects with university staff and channel owners.
    • In collaboration with other departments, assist in the development and distribution of university newsletters
    • Conduct competitive analyses and online marketing research
    • Complete special projects with minimal supervision
    • Create digital signage
    Qualifications: 
    • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with individuals across the department, and University, including students, staff and faculty
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Working knowledge of content management systems, optional
    • Provide sample of social media portfolio
    • Provide sample of writing portfolio
    • Ability to work nights and weekends
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment
    • Highly organized, detail-oriented and reliable
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    Hours of Position:
    • Standard work hours with some nights and weekends
