    Job Title:Assistant Photographer, Quinnipiac Productions
    Department:Marketing and Communications
    Student Employment Type:Federal Work-Study
    Responsibilities:
    • Ability to capture professional quality photography independently at photo assignments.
    • Contribute to and execute the creative direction and vision of photography initiatives. 
    • Complete postproduction photo editing with minimal supervision.
    • Assist with setup and breakdown of equipment during marketing photo sessions
    • Participate in Quinnipiac Productions Training (week before each semester)
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Qualifications:
    • Some education in photography and a working knowledge of the exposure triangle
    • Experience using the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Camera Raw, Lightroom, etc.)
    • Ability to write captions using AP Style
    • Strong storytelling and photo editing skills.
    • Ability to take feedback with a desire and passion to learn and improve.
    • Self-motivated and eager to take an idea or task and run with it.
    • Excellent communicator
    • Strong time management skills
    • Thrives under pressure in a fast-paced environment with quick turnarounds
    • Must have valid Driver’s License
    • Must be able to carry 50 lbs

    Hours of Position:
    • At least 10 hours a week scheduled per week (up to 15 hours a week for undergraduate students or 20 hours a week for graduate students)
    • Some nights and weekends
