Student - Concessions Workers

Position Information

Job Summary: We are seeking friendly, energetic, and reliable individuals to join our team as Concessions Workers. In this role, you will serve food and beverages to customers at the MSU Dome & Herb Parker Stadium, ensure a clean and organized workspace, and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Prepare and serve items such as popcorn, hot dogs, pretzels, nachos, drinks, and more
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and handle cash or card transactions
• Maintain cleanliness of concession stands, equipment, and dining areas
• Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels
• Follow food safety guidelines and company policies at all times
• Work collaboratively with team members and assist where needed
• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate service during busy periods

Qualifications:

• Previous customer service or food service experience preferred but not required
• Must be at least 16 years old
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic math skills for handling transactions
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
