Student Wellness & Health Promotion

Job Summary

The Student Assistant will support the Student Wellness & Health Promotion as Program Assistant on the Armstrong Campus beginning Fall 2026.

Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with the planning, scheduling, administration, and facilitation of alcohol and other drug programming, harm reduction, and more
  • Assists with the planning, preparation, and facilitation of collaborative activities
  • Assists with administrative duties
  • Completes assessments and reports
  • Assists with data collection and analysis
  • Assists with grant activities

Shift Specifics -

  • Up to 20 hours per week
  • Flexible with schedule of availability

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University.

  • Demonstrated knowledge/experience in wellness or related programmin
  • Program planning, implementation, and evaluation experience
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills

Proposed Salary

$15.00 per hour

This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
