Description

This position will be educating and promoting best practices in composting and food waste reduction.

Examples of Duties

  • Collecting communal compost bins from dorms and academic building
  • Teaching compost tutorial
  • Educating the campus community about sustainability and composting
  • Maintaining open lines of communication with housing and physical plant
  • Processing and distributing compost to all campus institutions or individuals that would like it
  • Attend weekly CGA meetings
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Student of New College of Florida and must be able to work outside and work well with others as well as independently
