Job Summary

This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity for a current student to gain valuable work experience while contributing to Lake Sumter State Colleges success. The Student Assistant will provide essential support, working closely with faculty and staff to ensure efficient operation of departmental activities.

This is a part-time position with an expected commitment of 20-25 hours per week. The schedule will be flexible to accommodate the student's academic and other responsibilities.

Responsible for demonstrating LSSC's core values of Caring, Communicating, Collaborating, and Celebrating when interacting with students, employees, visitors, and community members.

Students cannot work during class meeting times.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Monitor student activity in the Esports Lab on the South Lake Campus
  • Keep track of all the equipment and maintain the quality of the Esports Lab
  • Organize and advertise the Esports Schedule for free play and practices
  • Perform Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications & Education

  • Currently enrolled at Lake Sumter State College (min. 6 credit hours)
  • Currently, hold and maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA
  • Minimum age of 18

These are part time student positions working at least 20 hours per week and do not offer benefits
