Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated Student Assistant who is passionate about pursuing a career in Human Resources. In this role, you will work within the Employee Services team and report directly to the Employee Services Manager. You will gain hands-on experience by spearheading a major overhaul of our Labor Relations files and physical file room. This project is critical to maintaining legal compliance and improving administrative efficiency, making it an excellent resume-builder for anyone majoring in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Must be a currently enrolled student, preferably majoring in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
Career Interest: A strong desire to learn about HR operations, Employee Services, labor law, or citywide compliance.
Skills:
Exceptional organizational skills and a high attention to detail.
Strong reliability and the ability to work independently on repetitive tasks.
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) or Google Workspace.
Requirement: Absolute commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality regarding employee and union data.
