The Disability Center is a unit within the University of Missouri-Columbia's Division of Student Affairs. It serves as a leader in advocating for equal access and inclusion of Mizzou's students with disabilities. Through collaboration, the Disability Center facilitates the provision of accommodations to students, offers educational programming, and provides consultation to the University community. Job Description
The primary role for the Student Assistant is to assist with the provision of accommodations and general office tasks.

As with all positions, involvement with other duties and responsibilities is expected in order to serve the customer and maintain the Student Affairs mission
Anticipated Hiring Range
$15.40 per hour, paid on a bi-weekly basis
Shift
Numbers of hours per week: 10-15
Available shifts are Monday/Wednesday mornings, Tuesday/Thursday mornings and afternoons, and Friday afternoons.
This position may require evening and weekend hours supporting activities and programs within the department. Occasionally division and campus projects may require additional hours outside of your normal schedule.
Minimum Qualifications
To be eligible for a student title, an individual must be enrolled at the University of Missouri. Enrollment in the summer session is not required if the student was enrolled in the Spring semester and is pre-enrolled for the Fall semester. Selection is contingent upon results of a review with the Office of Institutional Equity, Office of Student Accountability & Support, Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, previous MU appointment history, and reference checks.
