Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary

To provide support to the Joseph A. Cain Gallery and Art Department. This is accomplished by the following:

  • Monitoring all gallery visitors as they view the exhibitions in the gallery
  • Monitoring conditions in the gallery to prevent damage to artworks
  • Maintain cleanliness in the gallery
  • Keep a daily count of visitors
  • Assisting with exhibition mailers
  • Assisting the Gallery Director as needed

Minimum Qualifications

Current Del Mar College student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours while employed.

Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in an art gallery.
