POSITION SUMMARY: Student Ambassadors are representatives of the student body at the University of Saint Mary. They assist the admissions department with the recruitment of prospective students by promoting the programs and services available with the recruitment of prospective students by promoting the programs and services available at USM. This is a paid part-time position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide Campus Tours
Work with Prospective students
Promote Student activities and services
Recruit prospective students via telephone out reach
Assist with special events as needed (some evenings and weekends)
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be a current USM student with strong academic standing
Willing to commit to 6-7 hours a week which may include evenings and weekends
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Be a positive and productive team member
Display leadership skills
Attend monthly meetings and mandatory trainings.
