| Job Description: | Over the last several years, the University of Florida Levin College of Law has expanded our national profile through a number of strategic initiatives. The changes at the school have been recognized by U.S. News & World Report and other publications. To continue our success, we are seeking a Program Coordinator who will embrace an environment of innovation and seek to be a part of the school during this exciting time. Reporting to the Assistant Dean for Student Life, the incumbent will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing student organization support, including their events and related processes. The Program Coordinator will advise and support student groups and special student populations as they organize, plan and execute large- and small-scale events and meetings. The Coordinator will communicate with student leaders, student groups, and individuals to ensure they comply with all university and departmental policies and procedures. Essential Duties Student Event Support and Execution Student Organization Management Assist the Assistant Dean for Student Life with the creation, organization, and implementation of student-facing events and other initiatives in furtherance of the Office of Student Life’s mission and goals. |
| Expected Salary: | Up to $65000. Salary commensurate with experience. |
| Required Qualifications: | Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. |
| Preferred: | Excellent communication skills, strong computer skills (including proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications), and the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time, paying close attention to detail. Strong organizational skills are necessary. Strong emotional intelligence and listening skills, as evidenced by education, experience, or other professional development training. |
