Description

The University Bursar’s Office is seeking a motivated employee that will provide excellent customer service and guidance to students using third-party sponsor benefits. This position will display great communication skills to ensure information is accurately delivered in a timely manner each term to students, parents, and sponsors. The successful candidate will also need to have good financial skills to ensure payments are properly posted, as well as student and sponsor accounts are reconciled. This position is part of dynamic team of other Student Account Specialist working together for student success.

A bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Description:

This position within the University Bursar’s Office, is part of the Third-Party Contracts team.  The Third-Party Contracts team coordinates and processes student and sponsor contracts/transactions, including Florida Prepaid and Veteran benefits to student accounts.  This position assists with the day-to-day operations of the Third-Party Contracts Team, including coordinating documentation requirements from students and sponsors, applying contracts to the student and sponsor accounts, invoicing sponsors, applying payments from sponsors and refunding overpayments.  The incumbent in the position will deliver excellent customer service to students and ensure the timely resolution of issues.

Expected Salary:

$21.50 per hour

Preferred:

Ability to plan, organize and coordinate files, records, and work assignments.

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

Ability to work independently and as a team.

Ability to utilize problem-solving techniques.

Experience in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.

Ability to determine work priorities, assign work and ensure proper completion of work assignments.

Ability to analyze and interpret accounting data
