    DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

    General Statement of Duties:

    The Student Access Coordinator provides general operational support to the Testing Center including scheduling, administering, proctoring, and delivering tests as well as performing basic office work and other tasks as requested. The Student Access Coordinator will also serve as the point of contact for the Testing Center and deliver exceptional customer service to a diverse range of stakeholders, including students, faculty, staff, and the public. This role is integral to maintaining efficient operations within the Reeg Academic Resource Center and contributes to the educational success of the university community. This position reports to the Director of the Reeg Academic Resource Center and is responsible for supporting the entire Reeg Academic Resource staff.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities*

    • Schedules appointments for Webster students and outside testers
    • Communicates with faculty and students regarding testing needs
    • Proctors exams provided by university and outside agencies
    • Delivers tests to department offices where applicable
    • Maintains Disability Student Service's main and testing roster
    • Monitors email for testing center and responds to inquiries promptly
    • Supervises Testing Center student support staff
    • Conducts Testing Center's student employee training
    • Supports Reeg ARC office procedures including email, phone messages, outreach events, and office calendars
    • Assists with testing and test preparation for students with disabilities, which includes setting up scribes, assistive technology, etc.
    • Maintains knowledge of office practices and procedures
    • Clerical tasks: filing, making copies, sending faxes, and other tasks as needed
    • Other duties as assigned

    Secondary Duties and Responsibilities*

    • Assists with creation, delivery, and evaluation of internal procedures
    • Participates in University events as needed/requested
    • Support special projects
    • Assists Reeg ARC Director as needed/requested
    • Other duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS FOR APPOINTMENT

    Functional/Technical Skills*

    • Experience with disability services
    • Experience with computer-based testing
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Strong interpersonal communication skills; over the phone, in person, and in writing
    • Professionalism and patience
    • Ability to work independently without supervision.
    • Detailed oriented.
    • Knowledge and experience in the use of administrative software systems such as Microsoft Office.
    • Ability to multitask and handle high customer volume.
    • Maintain FERPA and high level of confidentiality.

    Requisite Experience*

    • 2 years of college coursework or equivalent
    • Experience working with others
    • Computer knowledge
    • Microsoft Suite knowledge

    Standard Schedule: M - 11:00-7pm; T-F 8:30-4:30; Occasional nights and weekends

    Work Environment and Physical Requirements: Within the normal range of an office environment. May be required to lift, push, or pull up to 20 pounds.
