Summary: 

• Creates and justifies engineering dispositions for nonconformances of composite and metallic, pressurized and non-pressurized aircraft structures.

• Covers all components of the aircraft including Wing, Fuselage, and Empennage.

• Analyzes and rapidly designs repairs based on equivalent strength or stiffness of surrounding structure.

• Works in a production and/or schedule-driven environment.

• Uses Catia V5 for design and analysis.

• Uses Solumina for manufacturing execution and work instructions.

• Uses SmarTeam for product lifecycle management.

• Uses Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation.

• Applies rapid repair design while maintaining schedule requirements.

• Performs structural analysis for nonconformance resolution.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.

• Minimum 10 years dedicated Structures MRB Engineering experience at a recognized Aerospace Manufacturer.

• Experience credit for related advanced degrees limited to 2 years for Master's and 4 years for PhD.

• Experience must include creation and justification of engineering dispositions for nonconformances of composite and metallic, pressurized and non-pressurized aircraft structures.

• Experience must include all components of the aircraft including Wing, Fuselage, and Empennage.

• Experience must be in a production and/or schedule-driven environment.

• Capability to analyze and rapidly design repairs based on equivalent strength or stiffness of surrounding structure.

• Computer literacy with Catia V5, Solumina, SmarTeam, Word, and Excel.
