Structured Cabling / POS Installation Technician

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with structured cabling and equipment installation, and is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, travel-based environment. Our client is a growing IT infrastructure installation company seeking a POS Install Technician to join their team in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with structured cabling and equipment installation, and is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, travel-based environment. This is a great opportunity to build technical skills while supporting installations for major national retail, hospitality, and food service brands.

Job Responsibilities -

- Install and terminate structured cabling to support POS systems and self-service kiosks.

- Interpret blueprints and site documentation to place equipment correctly.

- Configure and image new POS and networking devices.

- Maintain clean, organized cable management across all installations.

- Complete required paperwork and documentation for each completed site.

- Travel to client locations to perform on-site installations, working independently or as part of a team.

- Transport and safely handle tools and equipment between job sites





Job Requirements -

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

- Comfortable driving a cargo van and transporting equipment.

- Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs, and stand for extended periods.

- Comfortable working on ladders and scissor lifts.

- Must supply own basic hand tools.

- High school diploma required.

- Prior POS installation or structured cabling experience preferred.

- Basic familiarity with networking and computer systems; OSHA10 certification a plus.
