What you’ll lead
Project portfolio
- Data cabling (Cat 5 & 6 termination and testing)
- CCTV systems (cameras, power supplies, and field deployment)
- Card access (door strikes, card readers, power supplies)
- Fiber optics (installation, terminations, splicing, testing)
- Fire alarm systems (IDC/SLC circuits, device install, troubleshooting)
Leadership
- Inspire and motivate technicians; model best practices and safety
- Give clear direction to field teams and coordinate subcontractors
- Set personal and team goals that drive growth
- Control subcontractor costs and timelines
- Keep multiple projects organized and moving with crisp communication
- Ensure work complies with the National Electric Code (NEC)
- Make timely, confident decisions to maintain momentum
Customer relationships
- Build lasting trust with attentive service and high‑quality delivery
- Be accessible, responsive, and solutions‑oriented
- Balance client priorities with project profitability
- Communicate seamlessly with customers, electricians, suppliers, and subcontractors
Estimating and controls
- Interpret blueprints and electrical specifications
- Quantify materials and labor requirements
- Develop accurate proposals using Accubid software
- Explain costs and scope clearly to stakeholders
- Anticipate cost impacts and pursue change orders when warranted
What you bring
- Proven experience managing low‑voltage electrical projects
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Accubid estimating software
- Hands‑on expertise across data cabling, CCTV, card access, fiber optics, and fire alarm systems
You should be proficient in: Project Management; Video Surveillance (CCTV)
