The Tarrier Steel Company has been in operation for over 100 years as a structural steel fabricator in Columbus, OH. We fabricate the steel that builds America, and we're looking for a welder who wants to be part of that legacy.
Shifts: 49-55 hours per week
- 1st Shift: 5:30am – 4:00pm, Monday–Thursday, 3:00pm Friday
- 2nd Shift: 4:00pm – 2:30am, Monday–Thursday, 1:30am Friday

What You'll Do
- Read shop drawings and weld symbols
- Perform flux-cored arc welding of structural steel plates, angles, beams, channels and HSS
- Thermal cut, back-gouge, and grind as needed
- Keep a clean, organized, safe work area
- Safely operate overhead cranes, welders, torches, and grinders
- Check your own work and fix issues before QC inspection
- Flag drawing or material problems to your supervisor

- This is a shop job: you'll be on your feet welding beams and columns
