We are on the hunt for a confident and experienced Permanent Structural Steel Estimator to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about shaping the built environment and who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative setting. If you are an expert in Fabsuite, Fabtrol, Tekla EPM, and AISC, and have a minimum of five years of experience in a similar role, we want to hear from you. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your skills and make a significant impact on high-profile construction projects.

Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Structural Steel Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Preparing detailed cost estimates for structural steel components of construction projects.
2. Reviewing and interpreting architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and other related documents.
3. Utilizing software such as Fabsuite, Fabtrol, Tekla EPM, and AISC to develop accurate and competitive estimates.
4. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver cost-effective solutions.
5. Conducting risk assessments to identify potential cost overruns and providing mitigation strategies.
6. Presenting estimates to senior management and clients, clearly explaining the basis of the costings and the assumptions made.
7. Keeping abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and material costs to ensure estimates are current and competitive.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of five years of experience as a Structural Steel Estimator in the construction industry.
2. Proficiency in Fabsuite, Fabtrol, Tekla EPM, and AISC, or equivalent software.
3. A strong understanding of architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and other related documents.
4. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex technical information and translate it into clear, understandable estimates.
5. Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
6. A proven track record of producing accurate and competitive estimates for structural steel components.
7. A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
8. A strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality.
9. The ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.
