Structural Steel Estimator, Beavercreek OH Area

Estimate structural and miscellaneous steel for a fabricator serving the Beavercreek, OH area. In this Steel Estimator role you'll bid commercial and industrial projects and carry every estimate from takeoff through proposal.

What you'll do:

• Build complete estimates covering material, shop labor, and erection, and write proposals
• Request and compare quotes for detailing, erection, galvanizing, coatings, and freight
• Work with steel erectors and project managers on constructability and erection sequencing
• Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing for structural and miscellaneous steel from plans and specs

What you bring:

• Strong blueprint reading skills
• Familiarity with Tekla EPM, SDS2, or similar estimating software
• 5+ years of structural steel estimating experience
