Structural Steel Erection Project Manager

 

Our client, an established structural steel erection contractor, is hiring a Project Manager in the Des Moines, IA area. This is a permanent, full-time role for someone who knows how to run steel erection jobs from award to closeout.

 

What you'll do:

- Manage steel erection projects from award through closeout

- Own budgets, schedules, change orders and billing

- Coordinate field crews, subcontractors and suppliers

- Serve as the main point of contact for owners and GCs

- Track job cost and report progress

 

What we're looking for:

- 5+ years of project management in steel erection or structural steel

- Strong cost control and scheduling skills

- Comfortable reading plans, specs and erection drawings

- Strong communication and leadership

 

Compensation:

- Salary of $80,000 to $125,000, based on experience

- Health, dental and vision insurance

- 401k with company match
