    Position Summary:

    We are seeking a highly qualified Structural Section Head to lead and manage the structural engineering section in our Lexington, KY office. This key leadership role requires a professional with extensive experience in structural engineering, team management, and project delivery within a collaborative consulting environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the structural engineering team, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and performance management
    • Oversee and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and quality for structural projects
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
    • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and best practices in all structural designs
    • Participate in business development activities and contribute to proposal development
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the structural section
    • Support career growth and professional development of team members

    Must-Have Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited program
    • Professional Engineer (PE) license
    • Minimum 10 years of progressive structural engineering experience
    • Proven leadership and team management skills
    • Strong knowledge of structural design codes, standards, and software
    • Proficiency in project management and Microsoft Office

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in managing large multidisciplinary project teams
    • Familiarity with local and state regulatory environments
    • Business development and client relationship experience

    Working Conditions:

    • Primarily office-based with occasional site visits
    • On-site presence required in Lexington, KY
    • Safe and professional working environment
