Structural MIG Welder-Fabricator | Direct Hire | Donora, PA
As the shop lights come up at 7:00 PM, you gear up to build with purpose. You read the drawings, line up the steel, and lay down clean, consistent MIG welds that hold projects together—literally. By the time your shift wraps at 3:30 AM, components are aligned, welds are inspected, and the floor is swept for the next day’s work.
What you’ll do
- Perform MIG and structural welding of steel components to established procedures and specifications.
- Fit, position, align, and assemble steel parts prior to weld-out.
- Grind, prep, and preheat with a torch when required.
- Move and stage materials using overhead cranes and/or forklifts.
- Visually inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy.
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow company safety practices and welding standards at all times.
- Interpret welding procedures, drawings, and job specifications.

What you bring
- Previous welding and fitting experience required.
- Experience with steel and fabrication equipment preferred.
- Ability to safely handle and move materials.
- Comfort working independently and as part of a fabrication team.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safety.
- Crane and/or forklift experience is a plus.
- Proficiency: Tape Measure Reading
