    A Day in the Shop

On your shift, you’ll step into a busy, well-organized fabrication floor. You’ll review shop drawings and weld symbols, stage your materials, and set up your FCAW equipment for structural work on plates, angles, beams, channels, and HSS. With overhead cranes and rigging support, you’ll move members into place, make thermal cuts, back-gouge and grind where needed, and complete strong, clean welds.
