    Position Title: Manager, Structural Engineering

    Location: Mckinney, Texas

    Employment Type: Full-time

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    An employee-owned leader in offsite manufacturing and modular power infrastructure is seeking a Manager, Structural Engineering. This role provides senior technical leadership for structural systems, foundation design, and modular assemblies while building and managing an engineering team to support long-term business growth.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Design & Review: Lead structural engineering deliverables, calculations, and PE-stamped packages for foundations, equipment supports, steel frames, skids, and modular assemblies.

    • Technical Oversight: Review geotechnical reports, submittals, steel/concrete details, and concrete mix designs. Lead root cause investigations for nonconformances and field deviations.

    • Cross-Functional Integration: Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, civil, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure structural designs align with production and deployment processes.

    • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and manage a team of structural engineers. Establish technical standards, prioritize workloads, and implement scalable processes.

    • Field Support: Conduct visits to manufacturing plants and project sites to review foundation installation, structural alignment, and constructability.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Education: BS in Structural or Civil Engineering (with structural focus) from an accredited institution.

    • Experience: 10+ years of structural engineering experience, ideally in modular, offsite manufacturing, energy, or large infrastructure projects.

    • Licensure: Active PE license required. Valid Driver's License.

    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in structural software (RISA, STAAD, RAM, SAP2000, ETABS) and design tools (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit). Deep understanding of building codes (ACI, AISC, ASCE, IBC).

    • Leadership: Proven track record of managing teams, setting engineering standards, and making autonomous technical decisions.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT & TRAVEL

    • Setting: Hybrid (office, manufacturing facilities, and active job sites; occasional field conditions).

    • Travel: Up to 25%.
