We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer with a strong background in heavy industrial and power plant design. The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of civil/structural engineering experience, specializing in structural steel design, connection design, and engineering calculations for complex industrial structures.
Provide advanced structural engineering services for heavy industrial and power plant projects.
Prepare, review, and check detailed structural steel design calculations and engineering drawings.
Apply structural engineering principles to support project design, evaluations, and field conditions.
Ensure compliance with all applicable structural codes, standards, and industry methodologies.
Work collaboratively with engineering teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to develop effective design solutions.
Utilize structural analysis software to model, interpret, and validate structural behavior and loading conditions.
10+ years of structural engineering experience in power plants or heavy industrial environments.
Expert knowledge of structural steel design principles, methodologies, and engineering best practices.
Significant experience in structural steel connection design.
Strong understanding and practical experience with structural codes and standards (AISC, ASCE, etc.).
Extensive knowledge of heavy industrial structures and major structural components.
Advanced computer skills with proficiency in STAAD PRO or similar structural analysis software.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited program is required.
