Structural Engineer

Position Summary ASR International Corporation is seeking a Structural Engineer to provide Design Technical Support services for NAVFAC Northwest. The Structural Engineer will perform structural analysis, design reviews, and technical support for building and waterfront structures on Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design of vertical and lateral force-resisting systems, retaining structures, utility structures, and waterfront structures (piers, wharves, etc.).
- Review designs, calculations, RFIs, submittals, and design changes for compliance with DoD UFC, IBC, ASCE 7, and project requirements.
- Apply innovative technical principles to resolve structural design issues.
- Coordinate with multi-discipline teams, government clients, and stakeholders.
- Prepare technical reports, recommendations, and meeting documentation.
- Support weekly and monthly status reporting.
Minimum Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required (Green Card holders are not eligible to apply).
- Must be able to pass a T1 security background check.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a structural focus from an accredited program.
- Minimum of six (6) years of design management and/or design experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of structural design using concrete, steel, and masonry.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Structural or Civil Engineering.
- Experience with NAVFAC, waterfront structures, or DoD facilities projects.
