Position Overview

We are seeking a high-caliber Structural Engineer to join our dedicated St. Louis team. Core Responsibilities
System Architecture & Analysis: Execute rigorous structural analysis and design for complex new constructions and the revitalization of existing structural systems.
Integrated Design Collaboration: Partner with multidisciplinary teams to seamlessly integrate structural solutions with architectural, mechanical, and electrical components.
Technical Stewardship: Prepare and oversee the production of high-fidelity technical drawings, specifications, and comprehensive engineering reports.
Code Mastery: Interpret and apply stringent building codes and industry standards to ensure every design exceeds safety and compliance requirements.
Digital Excellence: Leverage Revit and AutoCAD alongside advanced structural analysis software to maintain the highest level of BIM accuracy and data integrity.
Field Command: Conduct strategic site visits and inspections, verifying that the physical installation and operation of systems align perfectly with design intent.
Project Lifecycle Management: Manage the technical accuracy of documentation from initial concept through construction administration, ensuring milestones are met with excellence.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience specifically in structural building design.
Licensure: Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) OR an Engineer in Training (EIT) with a definitive path and intent to obtain PE licensure.
Software Proficiency: Advanced command of Revit and AutoCAD, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Technical Literacy: Proven experience with industry-standard structural analysis and design software.
Communication: Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Sector Expertise: Previous experience managing structural designs for government or large-scale institutional projects.
Advanced Analysis: Expertise in specific high-end modeling software (e.g., RISA-3D, RAM, or SAP 2000).
Leadership Interest: A desire to mentor junior staff and contribute to the firm’s internal standards for excellence.
