Position Summary:
We are seeking a Structural Engineer to support the design and management of structural projects including airports, stadiums, schools, office buildings, mixed-use developments, and parking decks. This position will focus on structural analysis, building design, construction drawings, and coordination with architects and other engineering disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform structural design and analysis for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures
Calculate structural loads and stresses
Create and coordinate structural drawings using Revit
Work closely with architects, clients, and other engineering disciplines
Manage multiple projects, schedules, and engineering priorities
Monitor project budgets and design schedules
Perform construction administration
Coordinate structural designs with architectural, mechanical, electrical, and site requirements
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
EIT certification required
5+ years of structural engineering and project design experience
Proficiency with Revit
Strong understanding of structural engineering and building design
Project management experience
Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
PE license
Experience with steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures
Experience with Enercalc, SAP, Bluebeam, RISA, TEDDS, RAM, or ETABS
Experience with commercial, educational, aviation, sports, mixed-use, or parking structures
