We are seeking a Structural Engineer with 5–10 years of experience to support the design and delivery of large-scale new build developments across Central Florida. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands‑on structural design but is also ready to grow into a Project Management role , taking increasing ownership of projects, client coordination, and internal team leadership.You'll work on a diverse portfolio of projects including multifamily, mixed‑use, commercial, industrial, and large residential developments , collaborating closely with architects, developers, and internal engineering teams.Key Responsibilities Structural Design Design and analyze structural systems for large new‑build projects using concrete, steel, masonry, and woodDevelop full construction document packages including calculations, plans, details, and specificationsEnsure designs comply with Florida Building Code, ASCE, ACI, AISC, and local jurisdiction requirementsPerform site visits, field observations, and construction administration support as neededProject & Client Involvement Begin managing portions of projects including scope, schedules, and coordination with internal teamsSupport client communication and participate in project meetings with architects, developers, and contractorsAssist with proposal development, fee estimates, and project planningCoordinate across disciplines to ensure efficient and buildable structural solutionsTeam & Growth Mentor junior engineers and designersReview calculations, drawings, and deliverables prepared by staffActively develop project management skills with a clear growth path toward Project Engineer / Project ManagerQualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering5–10 years of structural engineering experience (U.S. based projects required)Strong knowledge of Florida codes and permitting processesPE license required (Florida preferred or ability to obtain quickly)Proficiency with structural analysis and design software (ETABS, RAM, RISA, SAFE, etc.)Strong communication skills and interest in client‑facing responsibilitiesWhy This Role Clear pathway from Structural Engineer Project ManagerExposure to large, high‑profile developments across Central FloridaBalanced role: remain technical while building leadership and PM experienceCollaborative team environment with long‑term growth opportunitiesCompetitive compensation, benefits, and flexibility#J-18808-Ljbffr
