Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with 7+ years of experience to join our growing Brea, California office. This is a highly technical, project-focused role for an experienced engineer who enjoys leading complex structural design efforts while remaining actively engaged in engineering and project execution. The successful candidate will lead the design and delivery of structural systems for a variety of industrial, manufacturing, commercial, and healthcare facilities. This position is ideal for a hands-on engineer who thrives on solving technical challenges, mentoring junior staff, and serving as a trusted technical resource for project teams and clients.
While the role does not include direct people management responsibilities, the Senior Structural Engineer will provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers while maintaining ownership of project deliverables from concept through construction.
Key Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Bachelor"s degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
7+ years of structural engineering experience.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required; Structural Engineer (SE) license preferred.
Strong experience designing industrial, manufacturing, and commercial facilities..
Advanced proficiency with structural analysis and design software, including:
RAM
RISA
ENERCALC
Excel and/or Mathcad
Demonstrated expertise in the design of steel and concrete structures.
Strong technical writing, drawing review, and project coordination skills.
Ability to manage projects independently while serving as a trusted client-facing engineer.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
