Job Title: Structural Engineer
Job Description
This role focuses on the structural engineering analysis and design of bridge and transportation-related structures, with an emphasis on bridge structural design and inspection. You will serve as a lead designer on simple to moderately complex assignments, support site investigations and inspections, and collaborate closely with a small structural engineering team. Work Environment
You will work as part of a dedicated structural engineering team of approximately five engineers, collaborating closely on design projects for the New York City area and other transportation-related assignments. The role follows a hybrid work structure, combining office-based work with time spent in the field for site investigations, bridge inspections, and construction-phase site visits. You will use tools such as AutoCAD and standard structural analysis software in a professional office setting, coordinating with in-house engineering staff and architects. The position involves periodic travel between project sites, with travel reimbursement provided for site-to-site visits.
