An industry leadingmulti-disciplinary team is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer for their Detroit team!
Responsibilities:
- Project/Client management
- Business development (prepare proposals/administerproject contracts)
- Plan/manage design process
- Use technical expertise regardinglocal/national building codes/design practices
- Supervise staff
- Design new building structures, structuralalterations, renovations and additions to existing buildings
- Prepare structural assessmentreports
- Design/detailing of structure (calculations/computermodeling for steel, concrete, masonry and timber structures)
- Manage/coordinate projects
- Perform site reviews/constructionadministration services during the construction phase
- Ensure designs adhere to QA/QC standards
- Attend client meetings
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or CivilEngineering
- Master’s degree preferred
- 8+ years of Structural DesignExperience
- PE License preferred
- Working knowledge of structuralanalysis/design software (REVIT, RISA 3D, RISA Floor, ADAPT)
Salary iscommensurate with experience.
