What You'll Do
Design structural systems for multifamily, commercial, institutional, and manufacturing buildings.
Work with steel, concrete, wood, and masonry structures.
Lead structural projects from design through construction documents.
Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and other disciplines.
Review/check work of junior engineers and designers.
Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and quality.
Lead client meetings and help resolve technical issues.
Support proposals, business development, and client relationships.
Mentor junior staff and help grow the Charlotte structural engineering team.
5+ years of structural engineering experience
PE license required
B.S. in Civil/Structural Engineering
Structural design experience with steel, concrete, wood & masonry
Project management/leadership experience
Client communication and coordination
