Selectek has an immediate need to hire a Structural Engineer for a partnering firm in Buffalo, New York. This role will focus on structural design and engineering for higher education, municipal, health care, large commercial, residential and other unique projects.
Job Details
- Perform structural calculations for client review and permitting.
- Create designs of new and existing Structures
- Conduct Field investigations
- Coordinate with other engineers and architects.
- Develop structural designs and details from initial concept to final Construction Documents.
- Utilize knowledge of building codes and construction process
Required
- BS in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structures
- 3 plus years experience engineering and designing. Experience should include Steel, concrete and masonry design codes, basic wood design knowledge.
- Experienced in the analysis and design of structural steel and reinforced concrete buildings
- AutoCAD and Revit proficiency
- Risa structural calculation experience
Preferred:- Masters degree in civil engineering
- RAM Structural System
- EIT or PE
Compensation: $65,000-$100,000 based on experience and certifications
