Responsibilities: Perform structural engineering evaluations, assessments, and technical reviews Develop project scopes of work, cost estimates, and design packages Create and review engineering drawings using AutoCAD Review contractor and architect/engineer design submissions Provide engineering guidance and technical problem resolution Conduct facility condition assessments and field investigations Support construction projects through design review and contract modifications Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, contractors, and stakeholders Travel periodically to project and operational sites for inspections and assessments Work Environment Primarily office-based with occasional field work Periodic travel, including overnight travel, may be required Exposure to construction sites, adverse weather conditions, ladders, confined spaces, and remote locations may occur Qualifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license Master's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering Experience with waterfront facilities, utility structures, towers, and shore-side facilities Experience designing for seismic, snow, and wind loading conditions Experience with concrete, steel, and timber structural systems Experience reviewing engineering design packages and construction documents Experience in Alaska, remote, arctic, or harsh environmental conditions Key Responsibilities Perform structural engineering evaluations, assessments, and technical reviews Develop project scopes of work, cost estimates, and design packages Create and review engineering drawings using AutoCAD Review contractor and architect/engineer design submissions Provide engineering guidance and technical problem resolution Conduct facility condition assessments and field investigations Support construction projects through design review and contract modifications Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, contractors, and stakeholders Travel periodically to project and operational sites for inspections and assessments Work Environment Primarily office-based with occasional field work Periodic travel, including overnight travel, may be required Exposure to construction sites, adverse weather conditions, ladders, confined spaces, and remote locations may occur Compensation: Salary: $120,000 - $175,000 Full Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave, and Holidays.
